{"id":2957,"date":"2025-05-28T09:06:42","date_gmt":"2025-05-28T09:06:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/topos-thesi.gr\/?page_id=2957"},"modified":"2025-06-11T08:40:05","modified_gmt":"2025-06-11T08:40:05","slug":"thecentre","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/topos-thesi.gr\/en\/identity\/thecentre\/","title":{"rendered":"The Centre"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Topos.Thesi<\/strong>, the&nbsp;<strong>Centre for the Study and Application of Psychodrama and Sociadrama | Sofia Symeonidou<\/strong>&nbsp;was founded in 2004 aiming to provide services related to psychodrama training and application in various social settings in Greece and, especially, in the community of Thessaloniki.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Centre is the outcome of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/topos-thesi.gr\/en\/collaboration\/sophia-symeonidou\/\">Sofia Symeonidou<\/a>\u2019s professional career in the field of psychosocial support, which started twenty years ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the course of time, encounters and partnerships with individuals and organizations working in the field of psychodrama have influenced and determined the identity of the Centre, which is characterized by a rich tapestry of multiculturalism and diversity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Centre is an organizational member of the Federation of European Psychodrama Training Organizations (FEPTO) and a qualified training organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Centre is located in downtown&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/topos-thesi.gr\/en\/contact\/\">Thessaloniki (21, Politechniou Str.)<\/a>&nbsp;and provides the necessary premises and an appropriate setting for its activities to unfold, as well as easy access for participants in programmes and services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"\u039a\u03ad\u03bd\u03c4\u03c1\u03bf \u039c\u03b5\u03bb\u03ad\u03c4\u03b7\u03c2 \u03ba\u03b1\u03b9 \u0395\u03c6\u03b1\u03c1\u03bc\u03bf\u03b3\u03ae\u03c2 \u03c4\u03bf\u03c5 \u03a8\u03c5\u03c7\u03bf\u03b4\u03c1\u03ac\u03bc\u03b1\u03c4\u03bf\u03c2 | \u03a3\u03bf\u03c6\u03af\u03b1 \u03a3\u03c5\u03bc\u03b5\u03c9\u03bd\u03af\u03b4\u03bf\u03c5\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/EerwZg7bUfE?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; Sophia holds a degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences with a specialization in Psychology from North College (1992). <br>Her training in Psychodrama as a method of psychotherapy began in 1994 at the Greek branch of the \u201cLondon Centre for Psychodrama Group and Individual Psychotherapy\u201d in Thessaloniki. Her primary trainer was Jinnie Jefferies, and her diploma examiner in Psychodrama was Ken Sprague. Educational mentors and supervisors who supported Sophia Symeonidou\u2019s development as a Trainer-Supervisor and in organising and implementing educational programs at the Center for the Study and Application of Psychodrama and Sociodrama until 2016 were <a href=\"https:\/\/topos-thesi.gr\/%cf%83%cf%85%ce%bd%ce%b5%cf%81%ce%b3%ce%b1%cf%83%ce%af%ce%b5%cf%82\/%ce%ba%cf%89%ce%bd%cf%83%cf%84%ce%b1%ce%bd%cf%84%ce%af%ce%bd%ce%bf%cf%82-%ce%bb%ce%ad%cf%84%cf%83%ce%b9%ce%bf%cf%82\/\">Konstantinos Letsios<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/topos-thesi.gr\/%cf%83%cf%85%ce%bd%ce%b5%cf%81%ce%b3%ce%b1%cf%83%ce%af%ce%b5%cf%82\/judith-teszary\/\">Judith Teszary<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Sophia Symeonidou is a member of the International Association for Group Psychotherapy and Group Processes (IAGP) and actively participates as a member in various international groups and scientific networks, including the FEPTO Task for Peace and Conflict Transformation and the Intervision Group for Collective Trauma at IAGP.
