I am a Nurse (Technical University of Thessaloniki, 1997-2001) and a Social Worker (DUTH – Komotini, 2006-2010) with postgraduate studies in addictions (MSc in Addiction Treatment – Addiction Medicine, School of Medicine, 2018-2020) and a one-year training in professional counselling (PESYP-ASPAITE Thessaloniki, Oct 2022-June 2023).
I live and work in Thessaloniki in an integrated treatment unit (substitute) of the National Organization for the Prevention and Treatment of Addictions (former Okana) as a Nurse. I have worked in the past in various work environments in Greece and abroad (England) such as surgical departments of hospitals in the public and private sector, operating rooms and as a school nurse at the American College (ACG – DEREE) in Athens.
My first contact with psychodrama was in 2015, when I attended the Experiential & Educational Seminar on “Psychodrama in Education and Work”, of a total duration of 55 hours (October 2015 – June 2016). Organizer: psychodrama (coordinator Elena Kavrochorianou).
There I understood the transformative power of psychodrama and decided that, as soon as conditions allowed, I would continue my training, which finally came to fruition in Thessaloniki, several years later. My many years of working with people in crisis situations created the desire to acquire the skills to apply this valuable training both in my workplace, in the sensitive area of addictions, and privately.
