Center for the study and the application of psychodrama and sociodrama | Sofia Symeonidou
The Centre for the Study and Application of Psychodrama | Sofia Symeonidou was founded in 2004 aiming to provide services related to psychodrama training and application in various social settings in Greece and, especially, in the community of Thessaloniki.
The Centre is the outcome of Sofia Symeonidou’s professional career in the field of psychosocial support, which started twenty years ago.
In the course of time, encounters and partnerships with individuals and organizations working in the field of psychodrama have influenced and determined the identity of the Centre, which is characterized by a rich tapestry of multiculturalism and diversity.

Trainees

During their training, the Centre’s trainees contribute to shaping the social impact on social events and problems of the population and the environment in which they work, through the application of psychodrama, sociodrama and sociometry.
Their contribution is achieved through the organisation of and participation in social interventions that are governed by the philosophy and objectives of the method and relate to the scientific fields of the trainees.
The philosophy of this training places the trainee at the centre and helps them to understand and position themselves as agents of change and creation in the here and now in the social trends and phenomena they observe, promoting health.
